Based in Townsville North Queensland, Farrell’s Civil Contracting Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated company established in 2015 but has been servicing the local community and surrounding areas for over thirty years.
Our Mission is to provide quality and timely services to our customers and clients to the best of our knowledge and abilities.
During our interim, we have partaken in the growth and development of the community in such projects as the Yabulu Refinery Expansion, which the objective was to expand the refinery to produce more Nickel of which the outcome created more local employment and infrastructure. Also, with collaborated efforts with other local contractors, we have successfully established various superior housing estates throughout Townsville to boost the population and growth of the city and its foundation.
Our experience is not limited to large projects; we also invest our time in smaller works such as residential trenching, stump removal, pools, leveling blocks and house pads, final trimming and finishing.
In recent years we have strived for and demonstrated particular growth in our final trim grader operations division, being involved in such projects as the Adani Carmichael Rail Project, the Mailman to Mackenzie upgrade under the Transport Infrastructure scheme and the $43 million stage 1 Riverway Drive upgrade for BMD Constructions.
We envision ourselves continuing our support of the local community by being an integral part of the developing infrastructure and the foundation of our company.
Our People
Our staff are our most important asset, we are thorough when conducting employment checks to ensure we have the best and most qualified team for the job.
Farrell’s is strongly committed to supporting the community and employing local Aboriginal / Indigenous employees on all projects. Since established we have employed and supported Indigenous people in various areas of our company. Farrell’s acknowledges the need to increase Indigenous representation in employment and in turn reduce the total level of disadvantage among Indigenous Australians. We manage a skilled, professional and growing Indigenous workforce where we aim to comprise a minimum of 20% of our total workforce.
All of our highly skilled, dedicated operators are fully ticketed and 100% competent in the job they are here to do, with our core staff consisting of exceptional personnel who have all previously owned and operated their own earthmoving company’s providing them with a higher than average operating standard, attention to detail, policy and procedure.
Cameron himself holds a vast variety of tickets and licenses across a large number of industries having grown up in the civil construction industry he has a wealth of experience operating all plant/ equipment so we are able to ensure that if anything is not to standard he is able to fix it.
